Wiggle is not showing my remembered or available networks, what do I do?
Check and make sure that your Wireless radio is currently on, or make sure that no other third party applications (Locale, PowerManager, etc.) are automatically turning your Wireless OFF.

Does Wiggle need Wireless to be ON in order to work?
No, Wiggle does not require your WiFi radio to be ON at all times. You will only need to turn your WiFi radio on in order to set or change a profile or to scan for available networks. However, wireless radio off will affect Wiggle’s ability to detect networks in range and thus the ability to apply your profile settings.

Can I turn off my Wireless to save battery?
Yes, you can turn your wireless radio OFF at any time to preserve battery, this will not stop Wiggle from running in the background. Next time you turn your wireless radio ON, the Wiggle service will kick back in and start looking for wireless networks “in-range”.

What else can I do to preserve more battery life?
To preserve more battery life, you can adjust the Network detection frequency under menu option “Settings”. The NDF determines how often to scan for new networks in the area. You can adjust this setting to a higher interval to preserve battery. Play around with this option and find your preferred interval that balances battery life with network detection speed.

How do I stop Wiggle’s background monitor service?
To disable Wiggle’s service, press the “Menu” button and select “Disable Monitor”. This will stop wiggle from auto-starting when your phone is rebooted. To enable the service, repeat step 1 and 2 and select “Enable Monitor”.

How can I “save” or “remember” an available network?
To do this, long-press on an “available” network and select “Add Network”. You may remove any remembered network from your list by long-pressing and selecting “Remove Network”.

How can I clear my network profile?
You can reset your network profile options by going into your network profile and pressing the “Menu” button on your phone. This will bring up the “Reset Profile” option that allows you to clear all your settings by pressing it .

Can I disable the status bar notifications when a network is found?
Yes, you can enable or disable status bar notifications via the “Settings” page.

When are “My Profile” settings applied?
My Profile settings are applied when no other network profiles are found in range. Network profiles will always have precedence over my default profile.

What is WifiLock?
With WifiLock Enabled from the Settings page, you can prevent your phone from ever turning your WiFi radio off, even when your phone is idle or goes to sleep. This option will increase your battery usage significantly so use at your discretion.

What happens if two network profiles are “in-range”?
If two network profiles are in-range, the profile for the network with the best or strongest signal will take precedence over the other.
